How weird is it that I spent time squinting at the relationship scoreboard for Marion’s Bachelorette challenge? Everyone else did the same thing, right?
I don’t know what those numbers mean, but I choose to believe that Jorge is in the lead.
Those numbers mean the relationship “score” of them. It’s been always there and AM or RelationshipPanel enabled the numbers to be seen. And yes, Jorge was in the lead at the end of the second episode! I think the two evil sims hit it off lol.
Also, I just realized I made a mistake while photoshopping their names :/ Fixed it and you will see a bit larger scoreboard as I linked to an external image.

Does he have to remain in the bed by nightfall to have a spot or once he has laid down in the bed it has been claimed.
To have a spot actually means to completely fall in sleep in a bed. What he did (laying down on the bed) didn’t mean anything but made his mama proud.
littlecatsims reblogged your post: Episode 09: Elimination Ceremony
i think you mentioned that you gave dunder the no jealousy reward? wouldn’t that prevent the guys from being jealous? or am i missing something? i’ve never bought that reward before.
I thought the reward would prevent the guys from being jealous ONLY when Dunder initiates romantic interaction. No regret about buying the reward, though. Because last time I played TS2 Bachelor challenge without No Jealousy Mod, everybody was jealous of each other and fought every day and night. It was almost impossible to play ;)
I played TS2 version of Bachelor Challenge back in 2007 following rules by PA Vicky. And when I decided to play it again, I found erin836891 and KaintheSlayer converted the rules for TS3. But as the one who already has played the TS2 version, I needed some changes. Because although I like the idea of dance racing and such, some daily missions (such as chess date) were quite boring when I played it before.
So, I asked awesome people here in Tumblr for elimination ideas and borrowed their creativity. I’ve also added my own ideas which were totally inspired by my all time favorite reality show Flavor of Love. And I even watched I Love New York again while waiting the contestants sims arrived in my inbox ;D
Therefore, I guess the rules I follow now is quite mix and match. I made an archive page to organize them, but haven’t posted all daily missions yet. Because some of them are actually surprises :D
And, the most significant rule change I made was to set the elimination time flexible. The original time is everyday at 12pm, but it will vary in my game depending on the mission of the day. Since sims have such a slow response time, which will be even worse with 20 sims, some mission can be proceeded for more than one day.
Also, always, the one with the lowest relationship score with the bachelorette is eliminated, unless the daily mission itself generate loser(s). In the case of a tie, the one who has more friends will be survived.
NOTE: (1) The relationships in TS3 grow slower than the ones in TS2. (2) I bought ‘Long Distance Friend’ lifetime reward for Dunder so she doesn’t need to worry about decreasing or static relationship scores. (3) I bought ’No Jealousy’ reward too.

how come you dont have a cloud of grey smoke when they’re fighting?
There is a mod by HystericalParoxysm @ MTS that removes fight and slap effects. I wish it didn’t remove the cartoony effect, especially stars, but I really needed to remove the gray smoke.
I’ve concluded that the winners of both WA martial art duel and fights are determined by luck. It seems like some sims are born fighter so they always win and vice versa while others win or lose randomly.
You can have more than 8 sims per household by setting the ability of Awesomemod (set here) or Master Controller mod (use in-game setting). However, neither of the mods doesn’t allow you to see the portraits of the sims. So you’ll need the PortraitPanel mod which enables to display up to 24 portraits simultaneously.
Twallan once said it could conflict with AM, but apparently AM removed the conflicting code later. I’m currently using both AM and PortraitPanel, but haven’t borked my game yet :)
